Is there parking available?

Yes, we have underground parking.

Does the building have a security system?

Secured Entrances, fob access only.

What amenities do the apartment include?

Stainless steel appliances, in-unit W/D, floor to ceiling windows, A/C (in select units).

Is your property pet-friendly?

Yes we are pet-friendly.

What are your pet fees? Are they refundable?

$50 pet rent, covers the 2 pet max (no deposit/fee).

Do you offer bike storage?

Yes we offer bike storage.

Is smoking allowed?

No smoking allowed on property.

Application Process

What are the application criteria?

Income needs to be at least 2.5 times the monthly rent.

How long does it take for an application to be approved?

up to 48 hours and MFTE can take up to 4 weeks but can vary depending on individual screening.

Do you accept a shorter lease term?

Yes, please contact the leasing office to see if your lease term is available for your move in month.

If I want to hold an apartment, how do I do that?

An application needs to be submitted with the $62 application fee and $99 deposit to hold an apartment up to 2 weeks.

Are there any move in charges?

Yes, move in charges consist of the remainder of the deposit. Total deposit is $300, $99 is paid at application, $201 is paid at move in. cleaning fee is charged at move-in which is 10% of the monthly rent.

What other relevant fees or charges should I know about?

Increased Deposit can mean but is not limited to rental and/or employment information that could not be verified. No established credit. Late payments or debt-to-income ratio exceeds 25%. The increased deposit is 90% of one month’s rent.

Resident Life

Do I need to sort recycling and garbage?

Yes you do need to sort your recycling and garbage.

How do I pay for electricity and water?

Kirin’s utilities are paid with rent. Electricity paid directly to Seattle City Lights.

What is the guest policy?

Persons not listed on the lease must not stay in the apartment for more than 14 days in any 12 month period or 7 consecutive days.

Do you have on-site maintenance?

Yes, maintenance on-site M-F.

How do I submit a maintenance request?

Maintenance requests are submitted straight through out Henri portal.

What happens if a resident is locked out of their apartment?

We do have an emergency maintenance line 509.902.0825 that can be called to let you into your unit in the case of a lockout.

Am I required to purchase renter's insurance? If so, what is the fee?

Yes, renter’s insurance is required. Renter’s insurance can range from $11-50 depending on the company.

What are my options for paying my rent?

Rent can be paid by personal check, money order, cashier’s check, or online through our Henri portal.
